Red-Rock and Golf Resort Venues
Choose a golf or resort property if the ceremony backdrop matters as much as the reception itself. St. George’s golf-resort venues sit against red-rock cliffs and canyon walls, and each comes with a full-service clubhouse or resort staff already used to running weddings, which shows up in the price.
1. The Ledges Golf Club
Ask three different sources about The Ledges’ wedding capacity and you’ll get three different numbers, from around 100 guests up to 350. That’s not a data error. The venue’s own site lists five separate spaces, each with its own cap: the Dining Room seats 100 with a dance floor or up to 150 at full rounds, the Covered Patio holds 150, the Ceremony Lawn seats 150 (with paid additional seating up to 300), the private Snow Canyon room holds 40, and the largest space, the Snow Canyon Event Lawn, tops out at 350. Call the golf shop at 435-634-4600 and describe your exact format before you commit to a headcount, because the number they quote depends on whether you want a seated dinner, a dance floor, or an outdoor-only ceremony.
The venue sits against the red-rock cliffs along Ledges Parkway with its own restaurant, lounge, and golf shop on site, so catering and day-of staff come with the booking. The tradeoff is sun. An exposed golf course offers no shade, so book an evening slot between June and September instead of midday.

2. Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club
If your wedding party is flying in from out of state, Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club solves a problem most other St. George venues can’t: guests can sleep steps from the ceremony instead of driving in from a hotel across town. The golf club, the event space, and The Inn at Entrada all sit inside the same Entrada community, so the room block and the reception don’t have to be arranged with two unrelated businesses on opposite sides of the city.
The venue and the inn operate as one property, but bookings for the reception and the room block often run through separate teams, so confirm early whether reserving your date secures both or whether the room block needs a second call to the inn’s group-lodging line. Golfentrada.com doesn’t publish exact reception capacity, so get that number and the catering policy from their events team before comparing cost against The Ledges or Red Mountain Resort.

3. Red Mountain Resort
Red Mountain Resort sits in nearby Ivins, just outside St. George, below Snow Canyon with panoramic canyon views and over 10,000 square feet of combined indoor and outdoor event space.
The resort’s own site caps wedding capacity at 100 guests, well under either Ledges or Entrada. Catering runs in house under an executive chef, and the adjacent Plume Spa & Wellness at Black Desert Resort gives the wedding party a spa morning most other venues in the area can’t offer.
Skip Red Mountain if your guest list is still growing, because the 100-guest cap won’t flex after you book. Ask about spa-day packages for the wedding party when you tour.

Historic Downtown Venues
Downtown St. George’s historic buildings solve a different problem than a resort ceremony site. Guests can walk between the venue, nearby hotels, and restaurants, and the architecture itself does a lot of the decorating, which keeps the décor budget lower than a blank event hall.
4. The Mathis
Located in a former downtown market building, The Mathis offers a warm, character-filled setting with exposed brick, open-truss ceilings, hardwood floors, and distinctive prism-glass windows.
The roughly 2,400-square-foot space can accommodate a variety of wedding layouts, with capacity depending on your preferred seating and event setup. Its historic details and open interior make it a distinctive option for couples looking for a downtown St. George venue with plenty of character.

Modern and Large-Capacity Venue
For larger celebrations, St. George offers venues designed with plenty of room to bring everyone together. These two properties can accommodate guest lists of more than 200 while offering distinctive settings for your wedding.
5. Black Hill Event Venue
Black Hill Event Venue comes stocked with what other venues bill as add-ons: a TV and speaker system with a wireless microphone already set up, separate bride and groom ready rooms, a prep kitchen with a warmer, fridge, and ice maker, free WiFi, and tables and chairs.
A venue built for crowds that size brings its own load-in logistics. Parking capacity and vendor access both need to be settled before you book a full band, a large catering setup, or rented staging.

Rentals to Consider for Your St. George Wedding
Once you’ve chosen your venue, check what’s included and think about the pieces that will help bring your wedding plans to life. Your rental needs will depend on your venue, guest count, and the kind of celebration you’re creating.
Tables: The right mix of rectangular tables can help you create a layout that works for every part of your celebration. Round and rectangular tables can accommodate seated dining, while cocktail tables are a great addition for mingling during cocktail hour.
Chairs and linens: Seating and linens offer another opportunity to personalize your venue. Choose chairs that complement your setting, then use tablecloths, runners, and napkins to bring your colors and overall design into the reception.
Cooling and outdoor comfort: If you’re planning an outdoor celebration in warmer weather, fans, evaporative coolers, and other cooling rentals can help keep your space comfortable for guests.
