Rentals only — delivery, setup and damage waiver are quoted separately.
Why a range? Picking your table and chair styles below narrows it. The rest of the spread comes from the other categories — the low end assumes a practical setup, the high end a more formal one.
What's included
Tick anything on or off. Open a row to see what's behind the number.
Real prices depend on your dates and what's available.
See rentalsDelivery and setup. Not included above. Budget roughly $150 to $200 for delivery in most metro areas, and more if the site sits well outside the metro or the load-in needs extra labor — walk-ups, freight elevators and after-hours windows all add time.
Damage waiver.
Totals cover rentals only — not venue, food or staffing.
How much does it cost to rent tables in Atlanta?
Get the table count down first. The linen count comes straight off it, and so does the floor plan.
A 60-inch round seats 8 with formal place settings, or 10 at a casual buffet, so 100 guests works out to 10 to 13 tables. Both figures are real. A formal setting puts more glasses and plates at every seat, and something has to give way to fit them. Our guide to table sizes and seating covers the rest.
Cocktail tables depend on the kind of event you are running. For a standing reception with no sit-down meal, order 1 for every 4 or 5 guests. For a seated dinner with a cocktail hour in front of it, 1 per 10.
That distinction matters more in Atlanta than in most places. Daytime social events here, rooftop brunches and day parties, are a real part of the calendar, and they run on the standing ratio: fewer dining tables, noticeably more cocktail tables. If that is the event you are planning, count it that way from the start.
Ask the venue for a written list of what it already has before you order. Some Atlanta rooms arrive with tables, and some don’t.

| Rectangular Tables | ~$10 |

How much does it cost to rent linens in Atlanta?
The count is 1 cloth per table, so it follows your table count exactly.
Sizing is worth slowing down for, because a cloth cut for the wrong table never sits right. A 60-inch round takes a 120 to the floor, or a 108 for a lap-length drop that leaves the legs showing. A 72-inch round needs a 132 for that same floor-length look. A 6-foot banquet table wants a 90 by 132 to reach the floor. Our guide to what size tablecloth you need has the full set.
Chair covers earn real attention in Atlanta. Folding chairs are the chair type most common in this area, so covers are the route to a more formal look for a wedding or a dressed-up dinner. They bring a mismatched set into the event’s colours in one move.
Renting also handles the laundering. Everything goes back dirty, which is one job you never pick up.

Chairs
The count is the easy part: 1 per guest, plus a few spares for the head table and anyone working the event. Nobody gets caught out here.
Folding chairs. Folding chairs usually fall into two groups: plain plastic or resin folding (AKA garden chairs). Plastic chairs usually don’t come with padding, so they’re best for short ceremonies or casual events. Resin folding chairs usually come with padding or can have seating pads added onto the order, so they’re a nice upgrade if your guests will be sitting longer.
What decides between them is how long people stay in the seat. Past roughly 30 minutes, padding is worth having. Under that, plain folding is fine.
Bar
Start by finding out what the room already has. A restaurant or rooftop space usually has a bar built in. A park lawn has nothing at all, and that single answer decides whether a bar goes on your order or whether you are only supplying what stands on it.
For volume, plan about 1 drink per guest per hour the bar is open.
Heat is the single factor that changes this order in Atlanta. The summer heat index runs 95 to 105°F from June through August, and an evening start doesn’t change that. An outdoor summer event wants a heavier water and non-alcoholic order than the same event in October.
A portable bar gives the bartender somewhere to work and keeps the drinks in their own corner of the room. For pouring, venues generally require a certified bartender and do not allow guests to pour for themselves.
Chairs and ottomans
This row covers statement and throne chairs plus ottomans. It is accent seating, and it is priced as single pieces.
It earns its place at events built around an honoree, and Atlanta has a lot of those: quinceañeras across the Gwinnett and Cobb communities, Black Debutante balls, HBCU homecoming gatherings. The honoree sits in the statement chair, and photos are taken there. The order change is small and specific: 1 or 2 accent chairs placed where the photos will happen.
Ottomans fill out that corner and give other guests somewhere to perch nearby, keeping the honoree’s chair from sitting alone in the middle of a room.
What the rest of the order runs:
Other rentals
| Type | Item | Typical day rate |
|---|---|---|
| Chairs | Folding Chairs | ~$3 |
| Bar and glassware | Bars | ~$225 |
| Furniture | Chairs & Ottomans | ~$125 |

What Else You Need to Know About Planning an Event in Atlanta
Atlanta’s Two Outdoor Windows
April through June and September through October both sit in the 65 to 80°F range with low humidity, and they are the two comfortable stretches for an outdoor event. Fall is the more reliable of the two and also the busier.
Summer, June through August, brings a heat index of 95 to 105°F and regular afternoon thunderstorms. That argues for an evening start with shade and airflow, and it rarely argues for moving everything indoors.
Winter days run 40 to 60°F and are mild by national standards, with the occasional ice event. January and February outdoors is a genuine gamble, and it is more useful to say that than to hedge it.
Pollen Season Changes When You Set Up
If your event falls between late March and mid-April, set up close to your start time instead of the night before, and plan on wiping down outdoor pieces before guests arrive.
That is the whole action. Atlanta’s pollen season runs February through April and peaks late March into mid-April, heavy enough to leave a visible film on outdoor surfaces overnight. It is a setup-timing question and nothing more.
May Graduations and October Homecoming
Two stretches fill the city’s calendar, for two completely different reasons.
In May, roughly 50 colleges and universities hold ceremonies within a few weeks of each other. Venues, hotels, and vendor calendars fill across the whole city at once.
In October, Spelman and Morehouse homecoming brings alumni into the Atlanta University Center and spills into gatherings citywide. October is also peak fall wedding season, so the two stack.
Neither changes what an item costs. Both change what is still available on a given Saturday, so check your date against both before you commit.
What Your Venue Already Owns
Atlanta’s venue types sit on a spectrum, and where yours falls decides where your budget goes.
Park lawns such as Piedmont, Grant, and Candler start from nothing, so the rental list is the entire room. Rooftop and market spaces like Ponce City Market, along with restaurant spaces, usually arrive with tables, chairs and a bar already in place, so the budget moves toward linens and the pieces that make the room yours. Buckhead estate homes and private homes sit between the two.
One Atlanta-specific check: the farm and vineyard venues around Dahlonega and Blue Ridge are 1 to 2 hours north of the city. Confirm your vendor delivers to the address before you plan a layout around a particular piece.
Ask for a written list of what is included before pricing anything. It is a short email to send and it settles the largest variable on the page.
Permits and Regulations in Atlanta
What an Atlanta event needs depends on whose ground it is on, and city parkland, county parkland and private property are not the same conversation. Ask the venue which approvals it already holds and which fall to you, and start that conversation early enough that it doesn’t decide your delivery window.
Venues in Atlanta
The three patterns above are the real choice: a lawn you build from nothing, a rooftop or restaurant room that arrives mostly furnished, or a private estate somewhere between. The pattern tells you most of what you will be renting.

Need Party Rentals in Atlanta?
What you spend in Atlanta depends on your guest count and how much of the room the venue already provides. A rooftop and a park lawn with the same guest list produce very different orders.
