Rentals only — delivery, setup and damage waiver are quoted separately.
Why a range? Picking your table and chair styles below narrows it. The rest of the spread comes from the other categories — the low end assumes a practical setup, the high end a more formal one.

Real prices depend on your dates and what's available.
See rentalsDelivery and setup. Not included above. Budget roughly $150 to $200 for delivery in most metro areas, and more if the site sits well outside the metro or the load-in needs extra labor — walk-ups, freight elevators and after-hours windows all add time.
Damage waiver.
Totals cover rentals only — not venue, food or staffing.

How much does it cost to rent tables in Jupiter?
Your guest list and the kind of meal you’re serving settle this whole order.
Here’s what you’re typically looking at when it comes to renting tables:
- Round tables. A 60-inch round table seats 8 with formal place settings, or 10 at a casual buffet. The difference between those 2 numbers is elbow room, since a formal setting stacks 3 glasses at each place, one each for wine, champagne and water.
- Rectangular tables. Seating runs 6 to 8 at a 6-foot rectangular table and 8 to 10 at an 8-foot one. Set them end to end for a rehearsal dinner or a family-style party, and you get the long rows where everyone talks across the table all night.
- Square tables. Both the 48 and the 60 hold 8, so pick between them on space per guest, not headcount: the 60 gives each seat roughly 30 inches of edge where the 48 gives 24. The 72 seats 12, three along each side.
- Cocktail tables. For a standing reception with no dinner served, plan 1 cocktail table for every 4 or 5 guests. Leave 30 to 36 inches of clear floor between them to ensure that your guests have plenty of space for walking.
- Specialty and picnic tables. This group covers table shapes beyond round and rectangular: farm and harvest tables, serpentine sections that curve into an arc, sweetheart tables for two, and barrel tables. Check the pricing table below to see which ones are available before you plan a layout around one.
Settle your shapes and counts first, because your linen sizes, your chair order and your floor plan all follow from them.
Table rates around Jupiter:
Tables
| Item | Typical day rate |
|---|---|
| Square Tables | ~$25 |
| Specialty & Picnic Tables | ~$17 |
| Round Tables | ~$14 |
| Cocktail Tables | ~$12 |
| Rectangular Tables | ~$11 |
How much does it cost to rent chairs in Jupiter?
Count 1 chair per guest, then add a few more for the head table and for whoever says yes at the last minute. You have 4 styles to choose from:
- Folding chairs. Folding chairs usually fall into two groups: plain plastic or resin folding (AKA garden chairs). Plastic chairs do not usually come with padding, so they’re best for short ceremonies or casual events. Resin folding chairs usually come with padding or can have seating pads added onto the order, so they’re a nice upgrade if your guests will be sitting longer.
- Chiavari and luxury chairs. These are a more formal choice than folding chairs. They typically come in gold, silver, white, black or wood. Chiavari chairs are padded, which is much more comfortable if your guests will be sitting all evening.
- Barstools. Barstools stand at cocktail-table height, so your guests can sit down without leaving the conversation. Order a few of them for your highboys, since most guests at a standing reception stay on their feet anyway.
- Benches and other seating. Benches run alongside long tables and keep the room informal. Nobody has an assigned seat, so your guests sit where they land and slide down to make room. We recommend benches for a family-style dinner, a rehearsal dinner or a backyard party, and chairs when your guests are seated for hours or the event is a formal one.
The kind of chair you should choose depends on how long your guests will be sitting. If they’ll be sitting for more than 30 minutes or so, we recommend choosing something with padding, like a resin folding chair or a garden chair. If the event is more casual and guests are expected to be up and down, then a folding chair without padding is probably fine. And keep in mind for more formal events, it can be well worth it to rent chiavari chairs to quickly upgrade the look of the room.
Here’s what chairs go for in Jupiter:
Chairs
| Item | Typical day rate |
|---|---|
| Benches & Other Chairs | ~$19 |
| Barstools | ~$11 |
| Luxury & Chiavari Chairs | ~$8 |
| Folding Chairs | ~$3 |
How much does it cost to rent linens in Jupiter?
Order 1 per table, plus a napkin per guest for a seated meal. Each size of cloth belongs to one table size at one drop length, so look yours up table by table:
- Round linens. A 60-inch round takes a 120 for the floor-length drop, or a 108 to stop at lap height.
- Rectangular linens. A 6-foot banquet table wants a 90 by 132 to reach the floor. Its 8-foot counterpart wants a 90 by 156 for the same look. A 60 by 120 puts either of them at lap height.
- Square linens. The 48-inch square table wants a 72. Move up to a 60-inch square and it’s a 90 for lap height, a 108 for the floor.
Floor length hides your table legs completely and looks dressier. We recommend it for galas, charity dinners and wedding receptions. If you’re hosting a lunch or an afternoon shower, the shorter lap drop is the more casual choice.
Cocktail tables are the ones people forget to count, and they need cloths of their own. The 108 goes on a 30-inch highboy, and the 90 goes on the short table of the same width.
Chair covers and sashes belong to this category too, and they’re what you put on a folding chair to dress it up. You order napkins per guest, so if you want a second color in the room, napkins put it on every table at once.
Linen pricing in the Jupiter area:
Linens
| Item | Typical day rate |
|---|---|
| Round Linens | ~$20 |
| Rectangular Linens | ~$20 |
| Square Linens | ~$15 |
| Chair Covers & Accessories | ~$2 |
| Napkins | ~$1 |
How much does it cost to rent bar and glassware in Jupiter?
For glasses, your guest count alone won’t get you there. Figure 1 drink per guest per hour, so a 4-hour party for 120 people comes to roughly 480 drinks. Then order 1 glass per drink: anyone who has a glass of wine with dinner and something else afterward has already used 2 glasses, so count by the drink and you’ll have enough.
Ask whether your venue washes glassware on site while the event is running. If it does, you can order about 25% fewer glasses and still cover everyone.
Ask what your venue already keeps behind its own bar, because the answer decides whether you need one at all. If the answer is nothing, a portable bar turns an empty corner into a proper serving point, with room underneath to keep the ice and the bottles out of sight. Plan for whoever is pouring at the same time, because venues generally require a certified bartender and do not allow guests to pour for themselves.
Bar and glassware rates in Jupiter:
Bar and glassware
| Item | Typical day rate |
|---|---|
| Bars | ~$350 |
| Wine & Champagne Glasses | ~$1 |
| Specialty Glasses | ~$0.80 |
How much does it cost to rent lounge furniture in Jupiter?
Figure roughly 1 grouping per 100 guests.
Jupiter has a research-sector corporate calendar sitting behind its beach reputation: the Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute and the Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience both sit on the FAU Jupiter campus.
Evening receptions on a calendar like that often have no seated dinner on the schedule at all. If you’re planning one, order above the 1-grouping-per-100 guide, because whatever you set out in the lounge furniture area is the only seating your guests will get.
Here’s what goes into a grouping:
- Sofas and settees. The full-size seating in the set, and enough on their own to make a corner of a room feel furnished.
- Chairs and ottomans. These build the circle outward from the sofa. A square ottoman moves easily, so a guest can pull one across into a group without anyone having to shuffle around.
- Coffee tables and side tables. Guests want somewhere to set a drink down before they’ll sit for any length of time, and the low side table in the middle is it.
Leave a clear walking path around each grouping, so the people settled into it aren’t in everyone else’s way.
Lounge pricing around Jupiter:
Furniture
| Item | Typical day rate |
|---|---|
| Sofas & Settees | ~$233 |
| Lounge Furniture | ~$100 |
| Chairs & Ottomans | ~$90 |
| Coffee Tables & Side Tables | ~$35 |

How much does it cost to rent decor in Jupiter?
Your decor budget mostly depends on the room you booked. Plenty of Jupiter’s waterfront and golf-club spaces come with a view already doing the work, while a plain hall leaves you more to fill and more to spend on filling it.
Pipe and drape does most of that filling. A run of drape gives a head table a backdrop, or screens off the catering staging area so guests only ever see the finished side of the room. No published formula turns a room’s dimensions into a panel count, so measure the wall you want covered and hand your vendor the footage.
Stanchions do the crowd work. A pair of them holds a lane open between the parking area and the check-in table, where your whole guest list turns up inside the same 10 minutes.
Table decor is counted per table, so your table order already tells you the number. One local rule changes what goes on those tables at the beach: balloons are banned at Carlin Park, Coral Cove Park and the other Palm Beach County beach parks. If your date is at one of them, plan your color into the centerpieces and the drape.
And here’s what decor runs in Jupiter:
Decor
| Item | Typical day rate |
|---|---|
| Pipe & Drape | ~$109 |
| Stanchions | ~$15 |
| Table Decor | ~$10 |
What Else You Need to Know About Planning an Event in Jupiter
Jupiter’s Climate for Events
November through April is Jupiter’s biggest event season. The rest of the year brings near-daily afternoon thunderstorms, so a rain plan matters just as much as a heat plan even outside hurricane season, and a summer date without one carries real risk.
Hurricane season itself runs June through November, and Jupiter’s exposure is direct. Unlike parts of South Florida that sit behind a barrier island, Jupiter’s coastline takes weather head-on, which is part of why the storm history here can look pretty dicey.
The honest advice for any event in this window is a backup date. Find out your venue’s policy on this early!
Cajun Crawfish & Music Festival (April)
Every early-to-mid April, Abacoa Amphitheater hosts the Cajun Crawfish & Music Festival, an established event that’s been running for years, not a one-off. If you want a venue in the Abacoa district that weekend, book ahead of it, since the festival draws a crowd well beyond the amphitheater’s own footprint.
Jupiter’s Biotech and Research Corporate Base
Jupiter’s corporate event scene has a real, specialized angle beyond its tourism-and-retiree reputation. the Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute and the Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience, both on the FAU Jupiter campus, anchor a genuine biotech and research corporate presence here, smaller and more specialized than a market like Houston’s energy sector, but real enough to shape corporate event expectations.
If you’re planning a corporate event tied to either institution or the research community around them, expect a more formal, scientific-conference-adjacent tone than the beach-resort feel most Jupiter content assumes.
Boating, Marinas, and the Holiday Boat Parade
Boating is basically a default part of local life, and it shows up in event planning too! Intracoastal Waterway access, the Jupiter Inlet, and a cluster of marinas, including Jupiter Pointe, MarineMax Jupiter, and Loggerhead Marina, make boat-based and marina-adjacent events a category here in a way they aren’t in most other Florida markets.
A caterer or rental company that regularly works marina events will already understand the access and logistics constraints a waterfront-adjacent setup requires, but it still is worth asking about directly when you’re vetting vendors.
Every early December, the Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade runs the Intracoastal from North Palm Beach to the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse. If you’re hosting a marina-adjacent gathering around that weekend, expect crowds along the water and plan guest arrival accordingly. And if you’re planning a dockside event any time of year, a couple of tables and some outdoor lighting go a long way toward making a marina setting feel like an actual event space instead of just a dock.
Spring Training at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium
Every February and March, Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium hosts spring training for the Marlins and Cardinals, and it’s more than a game to attend. The party deck and berm space are available for group and corporate bookings outside game dates, making this a real venue option during the season, beyond its spectator draw.
The stadium also hosts a “Mega Bash” community event around July 4th each year, a second, separate reason the venue draws crowds outside the baseball season itself.
Permits and Regulations in Jupiter
Start with your address. Sites in and around town answer to different authorities, so an answer confirmed for one venue doesn’t carry across to the next. Ask whoever manages the property you booked, and ask them early.
You won’t find a published guest-count or square-footage number that tells you whether you need a Town of Jupiter special event permit. The town handles them case by case, so one early call gets you a straight answer faster than any threshold would.
If you’re holding the event on the beach, whoever manages that stretch of sand has rules of their own, so check with them before you order anything for the setup. And if you’re serving alcohol, a qualifying nonprofit or civic event brings a state permit into it, while private events more often run on a licensed caterer’s or the venue’s own existing license.
Venues in Jupiter
Harbourside Place, in the Abacoa district, centers around an outdoor amphitheater and gives you a lively, walkable setting, with the adjacent Wyndham Grand Jupiter adding a more formal option if you need real indoor space to fall back on. For waterfront character, The Beacon and The Pelican Club both sit right on the Intracoastal.
If you want something further from the coast, Lady Jean Ranch is the area’s one real rustic, barn-style outlier, a different aesthetic from the waterfront-and-golf-club norm most of this list leans toward. And if a beachfront ceremony is part of your plan, Carlin Park Civic Center is the one Town-managed beachfront facility, though it’s worth confirming current shoreline conditions directly before booking anything that depends on ceremony space right on the beach itself, since erosion has been a real, ongoing issue there.
